Pros-Aide is a special-effects adhesive for make-up artists by ADM Tronics. This glue is a preparation with exceptionally great adhesion, and is used for adhering foam appliances and other 3-dimensional parts, and for smoothing out transition zones. Use cotton swabs to apply Pros-Aide to the skin and to the appliances to be adhered. Allow to slightly dry, and press the objects onto the skin. If required, slightly lift the edges, apply more adhesive, and press them into place. To smooth out the edges, use a small latex sponge to dab Pros-Aide over the edge of the appliance, then powder. To thicken Pros-Aide use Kryosil. To remove Pros-Aide use Special Adhesive B Remover and Thinner.

The Special Adhesive B Remover works as a solvent for all acrylic-based skin adhesives and removes residues from the skin. Soak tissue or cotton wool with remover and let react for a while. After Removal, wash skin thoroughly and use skin care products.

FAQs

Are the prosthetics reusable?

Silicone prosthetics are not designed to be reusable.
You may get a couple of uses out of my sturdier pieces (ex., Noses and Horns) if you handle them carefully and remove them with the correct adhesive remover, but you're likely to get a more noticeable edge after the first application.

 

How long is your processing time?

2-5 business days.
This may be extended around Halloween.

 

How long is the delivery time?

Domestic delivery is 1-3 business days.
EU delivery has an aim of 3-5 business days.
Other international delivery is typically 1-2 weeks. 

Please note that these are estimates and not guaranteed.

 

Do you accept custom requests?

I am usually booked well in advance, but please don't hesitate to contact me.

I haven't received my parcel. Can you help?

Delays sometimes occur due to various reasons; usually, it gets stuck in customs.
Please get in touch with me if 20 business days have passed since the parcel was shipped for domestic orders or 25 business days have passed since the parcel was shipped for international orders.

Cancellations 
As I make these prosthetics to order any cancellations need to be made within 3 hours or before you receive a dispatch notice (whichever is earliest).

 

Returns and Exchanges
You can indicate your intent to return within 14 days of receiving your product. You have a further 14 days after indicating your intent to return to then return your products.

The following products cannot be returned (unless defective):

  • Products which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygienic reasons if unsealed by you after delivery, or which are, after delivery, inseparably mixed with other items.
  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
  • Goods marked as defective prior to order. 
  • Sale items.


Your refund will be made to the same payment method you used to place the order. Shipping is only refunded if the item arrives damaged or otherwise faulty. 

Please take care when packaging the return parcel as any damage will be deducted from the refund. 

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me within 14 days if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
